Chris Ray
Chris Ray formed HVL in 2001. His goal was to create amazing landscapes for residential clients. The goal remains the same 20 years later. Chris takes an active role in the company, being on site for the majority of projects to ensure the quality is above customer expectations. With a philosophy that bigger is not always better, Chris has been able to build a successful business with extremely skilled staff who take pride in their work and treat the clients with integrity and respect. For Chris, landscaping is not work. Its a passion to create Beautiful Landscapes that are Professionally Built. When Chris is not landscaping he spends time with his family and enjoys cycling and skiing.
Sonya McRobb
Sonya is an invaluable member of the team, serving as the Office Manager for Humber Valley Landscaping. Sonya brings over 15 years of professional office administration experience and a track record of strong performance in high-pressure environments. She assists in the development and implementation of HVL policies and procedures; manages and oversees the administration of HR policies within the company; maintains accounts payable, receivables, and monthly invoicing.

Our team of landscaping professionals is driven, hard-working, and detail-oriented. Showing up to work every day with a positive attitude and ready to tackle the day's agenda, this group is always ready to go. The crew is very tight-knit and works well together... maximizing communication between the client, Chris, the foreman, and the labourers, to ensure everyone is on the same page, and the jobs get done properly.
